Windmill sunset

The windmills are giant, a bit mysterious, and amazing to see up close. They also are in a great place for some amazing views! Stay off the wheat and on the roads and you can enjoy the beauty.

To get there: 

Drive west on highway 12. At wallula junction, stay left (on 730 towards Pendleton). On the left very shortly after the decision to go to Pendleton or Pasco, across from the weigh station, there is a road (hatch grade). Turn left on that road and go up past the homes. Please be respectful of all the home owners and drive slowly and stay on the roads (everything else is private lands) Enjoy views and strange windmill sound effects from the top of the hill!
